Hello everyone,

This week we are going to see how to resolve the BOOT folder missing issue while loading your PC…

Step 1: On start-up insert a pen drive where WINDOWS 10 is loaded as bootable

Step 2: Now select Language and click NEXT

Step 3: Now click Repair your computer

Step 4: Click Advanced -> Command Prompt

Step 5: Type in this command

bcdboot c:\Windows /l en-us /s c: /f ALL

Step 6: Type exit and restart your system to resolve this error

NOTE :

IF YOU CAN DEL YOUR BOOT FOLDER,

THEN YOU CAN UNDERSTAND EVERYTHING ABOVE…

    Just saved me. Windows 10 update blew out the c:\boot folder, and this command fixed the issue. THANK YOU!!!!!

    Gracias. Fue de gran ayuda. Mi problema fue que al intentar iniciar un disco rígido externo USB con Windows 7 instalado desde una PC de escritorio con Windows 10 instalado en el disco interno, nunca se inicio el Windows 7 del disco externo USB y aldesconectarlo y querer iniciar Windows 10 pareció una pantalla con el mensaje “Bootmgr mising, pres Crtl+alt-supr”. Para reparar el arranque de Windows 10 seguí los pasos que se indican en este sitio web y vuelta a la normalidad en cuestión de 1 minuto. Gracias nuevamente desde Ciudad de Buenos Aires, Argentina.

    Big thanks, this is the only solution that fixed my problem, nothing else was working and I was losing hopes of keeping my files, thankfully this worked instantly. Thanks again!
