Mark Zuckerberg founded Facebook in his college dorm room six years ago. Five hundred million people have joined since, and eight hundred and seventy-nine of them are his friends. The site is a directory of the world’s people, and a place for private citizens to create public identities.
Mark Zuckerberg suffers from red-green colorblindness.which means the color he can see best is blue. That also happens to be the color that dominates the Facebook website and mobile app.
“Blue is the richest color for me,” he told a magazine. “I can see all of blue,” he said in an interview. This is why Facebook’s primary color scheme is blue – although it certainly doesn’t hurt that blue is also strongly associated with trust and security, two concepts essential in getting people to voluntarily part with their personal.
